End of Life Announcement for CMI8768+ & CMI8770

Dear Valued Cmedia’s Customer: CMI8768+ and CMI8770 will enter into End of Life (EOL) period starting with this announcement. Both chips will no longer be orderable after February 24th 2014. PCI-E version CM8828 and CM8888 are the suggested replacement for your products succeeding. The following table summarizes the various milestones during this EOL period. End of Life Announcement:  January 24th 2014 (Notification of product entering into end of life period) Final Orders: February 24th 2014 (Order acceptance cut-off date) Final Deliveries: July 24th 2014 Last customer shipment(All orders to be shipped on or before)   Transition Period Cmedia encourages customer to immediately make the product transition to newer chip of either CM8828 or CM8888. Cmedia will provide full technical support in the transition.   Service and Support Cmedia will continue to support and honor warranty repair and/or replacement requests so long as supported by product inventory; following which, credit will be given for product returned under warranty conditions.
